Featuring veteran guides and well trained racing Huskies, Kingmik Dog Sled Tours has a proven track record for delivering an unforgettable experience. Kingmik features 90 amazing dogs and 11 full-time dog mushers. The dogs are all special northern breeds and are friendly and playful: Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian and Alaskan Huskies.
The Great Divide Tour (the southern border between British Columbia and Alberta) is Kingmik’s most popular, which travels 16 km in 1½ to 2 hours. There, the ‘call of the wild’ rings load and clear as you learn the basics of harnessing your own team of Alaskan Huskies before exploring this extraordinary wilderness. Guests may even have the opportunity to drive their own sled under the supervision of professional guides.
