Sandra Meiland exhibits at Kasser Rassu
She loves to paint her experiences not as she sees them, but as she thinks them. Sandra Meiland is born in Germany, lived and worked in Spain, Canada, Iceland and Portugal. She transforms the culture and colors of the countries into her mostly abstract paintings. Coming from the dynamic and powerful paintings of Iceland she invites you now to a journey into Andalusian colors. Sandra is working with mixed materials using scratchers, spray and pipettes for getting these special effects.
In Germany her paintings are shown in the Gallery G18 in Dortmund, where she lived most of her live. Sandra Meiland got her diploma of paintings and graphics in Germany at the IBKK in Bochum, with a master class by Prof. Dr. Qi Yang (2011-2012) and Andreas Christ (2012-2013).
